Welcome to the official website for the Tax Section of The Florida Bar. We hope that you will find our website a useful tool in your practice. Visit it as often as you like. There is no charge to our Members. Our goal is to provide the most up-to-date information on Tax Section activities and opportunities for Tax Section members.

I am honored to serve as the 61st Chair of the Tax Section. Many talented tax attorneys have contributed to making our Tax Section one of the most vibrant in the nation. Due to the efforts of so many of our members, the 2011-2012 year should be exceptional.

We are kicking off the year with our Organizational Meeting over the July 4th holiday at Amelia Island. In between business meetings, cocktail parties, social events and fireworks, the meeting also offered several hours of CLE to our members at no additional cost, including the traditional Ullman Tax Year in Review. We will also be honoring this year's recipient of the Section's Marvin C. Gutter Outstanding Public Service Award.
